Evanston, IL – For families, back to school is synonymous with shopping. But with all the choices available in today’s juvenile products and children’s media marketplace, determining which products to purchase can be overwhelming. That’s why parents rely on the iParenting Media Awards (IPMA) to identify the best of the best. Today iParenting Media announces the winners of its Back to School 2004 Call for Entry.

The IPMA awards evaluate and determine which products live up to their claims and which ones stand out from the crowd. Each product that earns an iParenting Media Award deserves recognition for being an outstanding product in its category.

During the Back to School 2004 Call for Entry, a wonderful variety of products was submitted for consideration, ranging from cutting edge car seats and computer games to innovative technology for monitoring babies and inspirational books for teens and special needs kids. Each company submitted four identical samples of each product, which were then matched within iParenting’s database of hundreds of reviewers using iParenting’s proprietary technology. Experts, licensed childcare facilities and parents then reviewed the products and submitted a thorough evaluation of each item. Results were compiled and submitted to the iParenting Media Executive Committee for final approval. The end result of this comprehensive process is a list of award-winning products that parents can feel confident in purchasing for their families.
