This innovative product, Fuji EnviroMax Batteries, is the first disposable, non toxic, environmentally-respectful battery made for the consumer market. These batteries are free of harmful toxins and are manufactured under some of the world’s strictest standards of environmental responsibility.
Fuji EnviroMAX has removed the toxic elements of Mercury, Cadmium or Lead found in other batteries. None of these heavy metals are present in EnviroMAX batteries. EnviroMAX batteries are packaged in over 75% recycled, post consumer paper and other recyclable materials.
Fuji uses PET plastic as apposed to PVC which harms the environment. PET is made from recycled plastic. Therefore, Fuji is not manufacturing new plastic or toxic PVC that bleaches into our waste system. The batteries can be disposed of in most landfills without harm to the environment.
