    Casey at the Bat is a new work for narrator and symphony orchestra in the tradition of Peter and the Wolf. The recording features the London Philharmonic Orchestra with original music composed and conducted by Stephen Simon. The CD includes tracks about the history of this famous baseball poem, how to listen to stories in music, the Casey March performed by the Michigan State University Band and a play-along track for young instrumentalists. The Magic Maestro Program Book provides background information on the music, composer, author and poem and more fun activities.
